If you believe your beverage container refund was calculated incorrectly, please address the matter with depot staff at the time of the refund or as soon as possible thereafter. You are entitled to request a recount and review any available CCTV footage of the transaction.
The BCMB recommends that initial concerns regarding a Depot be directed to the Depot Manager. For certain situations, however, the BCMB may be able to assist.

Protect Alberta’s beverage container recycling system. Report any suspected fraud, including large quantities of out-of-province containers. If you witness any criminal activity at a depot, contact the BCMB and local law enforcement immediately.
